Kaleidoscope

The Kaleidoscope is a 70 foot LED tower consisting of 432 custom triangular LED tiles, 4000+ Color Kinects pod lights, a wind sensor, interactive camera and a 16 speaker array.

The Kaleidoscope was designed by the Barnycz Group, and built at Design Communications LTD. While working at DCL, I built a custom Touchdesigner and Ableton Live system that generated real time interactive content for the displays. There were 8 different generative “looks” each with a corresponding soundtrack.
